Good Afternoon List, I am looking for an 1861 census entry for Edward GOODMAN christened Fyfield by Marlborough 18 Jul 1816 and his wife, Maria born abt. 1829. I believe Maria died aged 37 Pewsey 1866. At this stage, I believe Edward & Maria had 4 children in Victoria, Australia between 1847 & 1853 but I do not know how many of the children returned to Wiltshire when Edward inherited Oare House from his uncle Rev'd M.H. Goodman (I don't know what the letters M.H. stand for). The four children were: Charles Hiller born 1847 Cath Maria born 1849 Alice Louisa born 1850 Herbert John born abt. 1853 I understand that Edward & Maria GOODMAN returned to Wiltshire between 1855 & 1861.
