The third lean month in succession (between work and the weather !) Two Copies of the Bath Chronicle (1761, 1762), Freemans Journal (1771), Baldwins London Weekly Journal (1789), two more Salisbury & Winchester Journals (1784,1803) and a Dublin Journal (1806). The 1803 Salisbury & Winchester Journal (which is rather large!), includes a Gamekeeper's list for Dorset and a Militia Officer's list for Hampshire. More fun though is the Bath Chronicle (1761) which includes a line "Ladies ears bored ..." refering to ear piercing ! Finally, given my poor effort above I decided to add another "list" (mainly surnames) , a copy of the "Eton Election" 1846 - a list of masters and pupils at Eton, Bucks. As usual the Index is accessed through the page below : http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~dutillieul/index.html Use the Freefind Search box to locate references Webpages, then use Ctrl F to locate the precise reference (as most pages - being complete newpapers - take some time to read through !)
