Hi Listers, Can anyone tell me how I can find information about a relative who was supposedly killed in the 1st World War? His name is Aquila Thomas Collins, born in 1896 in Collingbourne Ducis. Are there any British Military records online or any place I can write to find out what happened to him and where he was killed? Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Peggy
Peggy, there is a CD: Soldiers died in the Great War. I no longer have access to it but some listers may have. Also here in Maidenhead Berks is the Commonwealth War Graves Office and they are accessible online. Check with Google. With such a name as your ancestor, he should be easy to find.
