Hi Listers, William Sly married Sophia Ellis on 8/9/1831 at St Denys,Warminster. I am trying to confirm that William was the son of Edward and Mary Sly. Can anyone help ? I would like to hear from anyone with Sly connection to Warminster.Lots of information to share. Regards, Jan Budden.

Hi Jan, There are some SLYs in Warminster interconnected with my PEARCE, CHAMBERS and BEZER families, and with the PRICE family who are also interconnected. I haven't followed up the line systematically as they're not my ancestors. No William in my notes fits the details you give below. Do you have any links with Edward Pearce SLY who married Sarah BEZER some time in the 1830s, and had a child, also Edward Pearce SLY, baptised in 1839? I'd welcome further contact.
