I neglected to mention my 2Xggf was mentioned as a Burgess in the 1855 Directory and I see a number of "connections" in the 1839. The Thomas Lewis below is I think no close connection but he lived close to James and his family so perhaps he was kin. Does being a Burgess mean you are/have to be a Commoner?
