Hello Sherry The well-known Box tunnel on the line between London and Bristol is near Corsham. The tunnel was finished in June 1841 (the month in which the census was taken). Perhaps your family was invloved in the building of it and moved away when their involvement was ended. That said if he was a navvy or such and had been working say on the Great Western Railway he might go on to work elsewhere on the railways.
