Hello folks The NWOCP has just completed its fifth piece and hoisted it online at the web site URL in my signature block. In a couple of weeks they will also be on the main Free Census web site on http://freecen.rootsweb.com/ We have completed: RG091276 Malmesbury RG101877 Highworth RG101901 Calne RG101904 Marlborough RG101905 Marlborough All the rest of the Nth Wilts returns for 1841, 61 & 71 are being worked on but more volunteers are always required. If you would like to help out, why not drop me a line? Images of the census returns on disc are supplied plus a spreadsheet. Just do one and I'll be eternally grateful! The project also encompasses the 1891 returns for Nth Wilts. With this we have to work from microfiche. If anyone owning one of these useful devices would like to help out I can supply the necessary microfiche. The aim is quite simple - to transcribe and place online, free-to-view, the census returns for North Wiltshire. Once they are done, no-one need pay to access them ever again. Hello from NZ. I would be very grateful if anyone is able to tell me the names of the incumbents of the Great Somerford parish in the period 1720 to 1740. Failing an answer from you very knowledgeable people any suggestions of where I may find the answer would be most welcome. Thanks. Mike
