Hi as a newbie to the list, I am researching for a friend the name Gosney in Tisbury and Ansty. I have some of the family in question in the 1841 and 1851 census, living in East Tisbury, James Gosney born Ansty abt 1786 wife Maria born East Tisbury. married about 1815 or before. I would please like to know if there is anyone with access to a microfiche of marriages in the Tisbury parish and surrounds pre 1837, I would like to find any Gosney marriages if possible. Is there anyone with any Gosney connections? Are you able to visit an LDS family history centre. Here up you should be able to find what you seek on the International Genealogical Index on m/fiche. If not go to Family Search International on the internet, search surname GOSNEY and see what turns up. Or try googling the surname/place name. Lastly try the county on GENUKI.
