    3. Hello All, It has been a few years since I have subscribed and posted on this list, but have new information to add. My GG Grandfather, Charles Stuart is found living with his family in the 1851 Census for Trowbridge, Wiltshire: 1840 549 010 Mortimer St Stuart Charles hd m 33 Wool Stapler HAM Southampton 1840 549 010 Mortimer St Stuart Mary Ann WI M 34 Dress Maker WIL Wil 1840 549 010 Motimer St Stuart Ann DA U 12 Scholar WIL Wilton 1840 549 010 Mortimer St Stuart George SO U 9 Scholar LND 1840 549 010 Mortimer St Stuart Charles SO 7 Scholar MDX Hounslow We now have a marriage certificate for Charles & Mary Ann and now know that Mary Ann's maiden name was Nash, daughter of William Nash, Occupation Laborer, and Charles' fathers name was George Stewart, occupation woolsorter. The witnesses are Sarah Stewart, relationship unknown and a George David or Davidson, again relationship if any unknown. The other 2 names are illegible. They were married in the Parish of Fisherton Anger, Wiltshire, February 14, 1838. Mary Ann Nash Stuart latter married Nathaniel Bamford in Wilshire and later moved to Gloucestershire. My GG Grandfather Charles married Jane Berryman and immigrated to the United States in 1883, his sister Ann married Alfred Fuller and according to our family history, his brother George and family immigrated to New Zealand. We always thought their last name was spelled STUART, but now that we have a marriage certificate they spelled it STEWART, so must have used the spelling interchangeably. Can anybody connect to this family or have any information? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You Bonnie James North Platte, NE USA
