Hi folks I have been trying (in vain) to find a missing generation. This is all I have to go on so far Thomas HAYWARD died Great Amesbury 1724. Anne POOR died 1726 Little Amesbury. Anne named her sister Mary sole Executrix in her will. She also names her Grandfather (the above Thomas Hayward) Apparently he was a 'man of standing' owning land & Tenements in Little & Great Amesbury. There are also four other names mentioned as part of Thomas's will:- Thomas BEACH of Fittleton Robert DUKE Thomas FRANCIS Henry BIGGS Amongst other things these four men were instructed to "Lease or Mortgage" his estate to pay his two Grand-daughters Mary & Anne POORE three hundred pounds each of lawfull money of Great Britain. Lucky girls!!!! The only possibility of the girl's parents I have found are Phillip & Mary POORE but can find nothing else that seems to 'fit' I have tried all combinations on the National Archives to try to find Thomas's will with no luck so ANY advice/help would be appreciated Pauline
