Hello Everyone My gt gt grandfather was William Bailey and he says on the 1851 census that he was born at Wilcot,circa 1805. He married Mary Davy at Burlescombe in Devon on 23 Nov 1830. I believe his father also to be called William Bailey as he is living in the next parish to William Bailey jnr on the 1851 census and also says he was born at Wilcot married to Amelia giving his age as 68. I would be grateful for any further info on this family as I feel there nust be some more children born either at Wilcot or Holcombe Rogus,Devon. Is there anyone with the 1851 census for the Wilcot area which shows any Bailey family still living there. Or would love to be in touch with anyone else researching this family at Wilcot,Wilts.
