I haven't found a marriage for her father and Jane Turner, but there is Mary Turner and Richard Newman are listed on the same page of FreeBMD-June 1840, Cricklade. I believe Richard is the one born ca. 1818. The later one I believebecame a Lawyer and died in 1865. Someone has given me 1841 details of Richard and Mary which complicate it further: Thom Newman. 80 Ag Lab born in county Mary " 70 " Richard " 20 Ag Lab " Mary " 20 " William " 5 " Henry Turner 4 " She has also found a baptism for : Thomas , son of John and Mary Newman 24th. September 1786. Any thoughts?
