I am looking for the parents and siblings of William Trowbridge married to Hannah Scammel in Berwick St John in 1809. William was born around 1776-81 in Wiltshire (not Berwick St John) and died 1849. Hannah was born in Berwick St John around the same time and died 1848. I believe her parents were Thomas Scammel and Jane Lucas. Their children (that I know of) were Elias 1811, William 1813 and James 1816. Only Elias seems to have lived to have a family. Unfortunately William Trowbridge was a very common name in those parts and I cannot make any headway in deciding where he was born. I would be very grateful if anyone has any ideas. Thanks, Anne
