    3. Hi Pat, you'd almost certainly be looking at Bushton Wilts. It's 1 mile from Clyffe Pypard, near Wootten Bassett. I had a quick look in the 1881 census, and there IS a family of Barrett's with children born in Bushton, but their William is too young, at 8. There are a few Williams of the right age born in nearby Aldbourn (or Aldbourne) and Stratton St Margaret though. Kind regards, and happy hunting!
