    3. Hi Wens, it's well worth noting that Heytesbury, Wilts. MOODY's are also very likely linked to those in Frome, being only 10 miles away. There was a Charles in Frome a little older than yours, but I'm not sure if he's relevant if you already have your Charles elsewhere in the 1841 census, except possibly to exclude him in later marriages etc. From the 1841 census as follows: Hillikars Grave //James MOODY 57 Farmer N Sarah 58 N Ann 25 Y Charles 15 Y Hillkars Grave is off Nunney Rd. Most MOODY's in Frome are fairly isolated small familes or single people, which I would think consistent with them originating somewhere else nearby. There's not large concentrations of them as you'd expect of an old local family. I'm happy to copy and paste all of them from the 1841 census for you if you'd like them. There are also records of an older Charles who may tie in somewhere, maybe grandad? 1841 census for Beckington 10/11 Frome Road //Elizabeth MOODY 70 Ind Yes /Caroline WILCOX 13 F Servant Yes do do //Charles MOODY 70 Yeoman No Ezil do 60 No (Note he was NOT born in Somerset). From the PCC will summaries: 5 Apr 1848 Charles MOODY Gentleman of Berkington [sic] Kind regards, Val
