    3. Jim James HELLARD or HELLERD not born Somerset, appears to be widowed on the 1841. I suspect Elizabeth (13 years younger than her husband on 1851 is 2nd wife) I think Mary is age 5 and censused as Margaret HELLERD on the 1851. A visitor with brother in TAYLOR household in Church Lane BRADFORD ON AVON Wiltshire. Could this be her Grandparents ?) Yet I feel that she fits nicely into James Hellard's South Wraxall family. Here is the certificated information I have.- Mary Ann Hellard c1846 m. d. 10/04/1920 - Mary Ann Woodman Birth date is missing yet from the info below 1846 seems highly likely. Census 1851 - have not found her. Census 1861 - have not found her. Her marriage certificate on 27/02/1868 at South Wraxall gives no age. Both were residing at South Wraxall at time of marriage. Gives her Father as James Hellard - Baker - All censuses show James Hellard to be a Gardener. But his wife Elizabeth was a weaver and a shop keeper - South Wraxall 1861 -(Side line Baker)?. Witness at wedding - James Hellard could be her father or brother. Her Husband Walter William Woodman was a Widower also from South Wraxall at time of marriage. Census 1871 married age could be 25 = c1846 born Wraxall. Census 1881 married 35 = c1846 born South Wraxall. Walter William Woodman died aged 41 20/01/1885 - Melksham. Census 1891 Head 45 = c1846 born Bradford on Avon. Census 1901 Head 55 = c1846 born South Wraxall. Her death certificate states she was 10/04/1920 - 74 = c1846. I have explored possibilities of Marianne. The many variations of Hellard. Also the many variations to Wraxall that I can think the transcribers used. I would really appreciate any assistance to bridge into the Hellard's. Need less to say a son was named Walter Hellard Woodman. 3. Thank you Jim for helping remove the red mist. I'd been looking so long at the 1841 that I could not see anything, so a fresh pair of eyes are a blessing. Yes I'll go with Margaret being Mary Ann HELLARD especially as her brother Henry John HELLARD c1847 appears with the family in later censuses. But why the Grand Parents documented her name wrongly is a mystery? So I've now been looking for a possible Elizabeth TAYLOR in the Middle of Bradford on Avon! Now there's a thought? Some possible's have appeared! Do you think it also possible that Mary Ann HELLARD, who always stated that South Wraxall or Bradford was where she was born, could have in fact been registered at Wellington, Somerset which is possibly the nearest RO to Ashbrittle where her Father originated. If I could find some information about James first wife or the date he married the second, then the picture would be much clearer. Thanks again for easing the step forward.
