Nettleton is very close to the Wiltshire and Gloucestershire boundary. There are only two Jeremiah Isaacs listed. A 45 year old in Acton Turville, which is in Gloucestershire, just a few miles from Nettleton, and 10 year old in High Acton, Gloucestershire. I've tried all sorts of combinations for the Clark family, in and out of Wiltshire county, but I can't see them. I think Patsy might be right and the 1841 census for the Nettleton and West Kington area may be missing. Susan Patricia O'Shea <pkoshea@xtra.co.nz> wrote: Hi Carolyn. It may be that the 1841 for these villages does not survive as they do not show up on Origins version either. Neither do Castle Combe, North Wraxall, Acton Turville etc. seem to be there. Not what you wanted to hear but may be why you don't see them anywhere. If there are other sources there may be people on the list who can help identify where they are kept. It seems that the enumerator books for Nettleton and West Kington in 1841 are indeed missing - see the following Wilts Record Office link: http://www.wiltshire.gov.uk/community/getfaq.php?id=37 Derek Woodman ----- Original Message ----- From: "susan morris" <susan.v.morris@btinternet.com> To: <ENG-WILTSHIRE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: 17 August 2006 12:19 Subject: Re: [ENG-WIL] 1841 Nettleton & W Kington > Nettleton is very close to the Wiltshire and Gloucestershire boundary. > > There are only two Jeremiah Isaacs listed.
