Hi list - there have been some good responses to this query but I wonder if the original poster will see them? It is my understanding that message board posts come to the list but the reverse does not apply. Perhaps the list admin could remind us of the way to answer message board posts? It is a shame to see good information possibly not reaching the person concerned. My apologies if I have this wrong. Cheers, Patsy - New Zealand. > Liz, > I had a look in W.R.S. volume XXVII Returns to Visitation Queries, 1783. > But questions asked don't include any reference to the Jewish community, > possibly the community was so small that it didn't merit any inquiry ? > Possibly an enquiry direct to Wiltshire Record Office might suggest a lead > to follow up ? You need to click on the link shown in the original message. This takes you to the Message Board where you compose and send your reply. This will be added to the Message Board and copied to the list.
