I have found the marriage of James Hams and Betsey Bartlett in 1868 and think Betsey' s father was called James but can't seem to find him or a wife in any census. Betsey was born abt 1849 in Enford.

Hello Jo, My notes show Elizabeth (Betsey) Bartlett was born 1843 in Compton, Enford, Wiltshire the 5th and last child of John BARTLET and Sarah RAWLINS. She was christened 26 Jul 1843 in Enford, Wiltshire. Siblings; William ch. 14 Oct 1832, Maria ch. 28 Dec 1834, William ch. 1 Mar 1838, Stephen ch. 14 Jan 1840 (All in Enford) Parents; John Bartlet ch.11 Feb 1810 in Enford and Sarah Rawlins ch. 29 Sep 1811 in Enford.
