Hi there Judy, Thank you so very much, you have answered one of my roadblocks. YES!!! This is my Arthur, and I never thought of looking under a variant of the name. I have since found on the Family Search of LDS, that Arthur was the son of Richard WILLCOCKS and Elizabeth ELMES who married on 25 Dec 1768 at Kington St Michael. Richard I suspect was Bapt. 6 Apr 1746 at Calne. The ELMES family were mainly in Kington St Michael.
