Google "Beta 1911 Census" and a number of information sites come up. The one that's headed "1911 UK Census - Beta testing" at www.familytreeblog.com/?p=163 has a link directly to the beta site. Be aware that it only covers Wilts, London, Middlesex, and Staffordshire before you spend any big money on searching for other places! In that case it makes a mockery of the 1911census site's T+Cs but I rather think that it's a case of people who have been invited have passed on the URL in contravention of the T+Cs. Thank goodness there are people who will and do respect the T+Cs, even if there are some who are too impatient to do so. Still it's their money to waste I suppose. I'm waiting until it's legitimately available on FMP (not the dedicated 1911 site).
