Hi, New to this list. A lucky hit with a wedding certificate has (finally) led me away from the Midlands. I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has information on this family; Francis COOKMAN born c.1808, Bradford, Wilts wife Maria TOWNSEND born c.1808 Potterne, Wilts Children - Harriet b.1833 Salisbury, Charles b.1836 Salisbury, Francis b.1842, Denbies, Berks. This information is from the 1851 census so should be treated with caution. I found a marriage between Francis Cookman and Maria Townsend 06/02/1831 at St. Edmunds, Salisbury where their eldest children were baptised. I could be wrong on this but there is a Maria Townsend on the IGI (extracted entry) baptised in Potterne, 1810. So, at the moment it's the Cookmans I'm stuck on. Any help is appreciated.
