Hello All In the will (dated 1807) of my great (x4) grandfather George Baker he mentions his wife Catherine and his three children George, Charles and Catherine. The WFHS disc for Berwick St James has the baptisms for all three children. The problem is that the later lists the parents as George and Mary, not George and Catherine. My first thought was that the wife/mother was Catherine Mary or Mary Catherine. I cannot find any confirmation of this. Any thoughts from my fellow listers would be much appreciated. Richard

Hi Richard, Yes, I've come across the same name-changing problem ... a Mary Anne who was married as Ann and an Ellen Catherine who was born a Catherine. Kind regards, Gail
