Hello Rita, No record of a marriage on BVRI but I have found a baptism for James Pickett on 23/7/1820 in Highway,Wiltshire, son of Samuel & Rebecca. could this be your James ? Hi Jan, Yes I do think this is my James Pickett, thank you, but still nothing on his marriage, oh dear, I find it most puzzling, but again perhaps in those days they just lived together.
