Hi listers, Would sks help me find out when a Caroline Stevens died and were. Also the Son Edward, does anyone know if he married, to whom, and did they have children. My Father was Edward George Stevens, he married my mother, Winifred Victoria Warren, in Dorchester in 1930, this I only found out in 1995, I need all the help I can get to locate the rest of my tree. Hi Gilbert, Do you have the marriage cert for Winifred and Edward Stevens? If you do you may want to share the info on there,such as the ages of the bride and groom,and the names and occupations of their fathers as this would perhaps help to find the families on the 1901 census. I would be happy to assist but Stevens is a very common name and I will need some further information Edward G STEVENS married Winifred V WARREN Dorchester 3Q (between July and September) 1930 Do you have a copy of the marriage certificate? This will normally provide ages of the couple and staus (ie batchelor/widow etc) plus name of the bride and groom's father plus addresses amd occupations If you do not have a copy then I suggest that as a first step you obtain one from GRO - they can be ordered on line at a cost of £7 plus postage from www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates Do you have a birth date or year and location for your father? Do you have similar for your mother? Hi Gilbert, was Caroline Edwards mother? Just to give a ballpark figure of when she may have died? Not sure if any of them are yours, but FreeBMD lists 3 Caroline STEVENS deaths in Wiltshire. 1902 Tisbury age 76, 1904 Swindon 68, and 1925 Fordingbridge age 80.
