Hi to you all on the List, I am writing to ask if there is any one on the LIST that is related to my Great Great Grandfather Samuel ADAMS born abt 1802 in Melksham according to his convict papers... He was convicted in Gloucester 21 Oct 1821 in the Quarter Sessions for stealing 7 yards of clothe from his employer.... He was sent to Van Diemans Land (Tasmania,Australia) as convict # 219 aboard "Prince of Orange" ship 1st April 1822 Samuel married Mary Ann MILLER in Longford,Tasmania in 1833 and had 8 Children...came to Daylesford,Victoria in 1853 after Mary died with most of the children and Samuel died in Daylesford,Victoria,Australia 1861 I do not know anything about Samuel before he was a convict and would be really appricative in any one can tell me any thing about him eg who are his parents ???siblings ???
