Can someone to help me with parish information? Tisbury is where the family is found and I have the family in America from 1860 on. I also have family in 1841 census in Fovant I need help with Fovant and Swallowcliffe. Are they part of the Tisbury parish? I am new to English research and need to find the family in parish records. Does anyone have access to the deaths in Tisbury? If so I would appreciate a look up in 1849 for James Arnold. James Arnold born ca 1801 Wiltshire, England He is reported to be an innkeeper and market gardener, He died ca 1849 in Wiltshire, England. He married Mary ( possibly Corp since Elizabeth Corp living with family in 1841 census possible sister of Mary) ca 1821 Wilthsire, England. John and Mary Arnold had the following children: 1. John Arnold born 1823 Wiltshire, England 2. James Arnold born 9 Jul 1832 Swallowclifte, Wiltshire, England 3. Elizabeth Arnold born 1834 Wiltshire, England 4. Mary Arnold born 24 Sep 1836 Fovant, Wiltshire, England A year after James Arnold's death in 1849 his son James went to USA to establish a home for his mother and his two sisters.
