Further to this, I now think Frederick's name is actually SIMPSON and there is a Leah SIMPSON born Sandhurst 1865 in the 1881 census which matches Leah's details in 1891. Leah SIMPSON married Walter George MIDDLETON in 1885, reg Highworth. Does not help with the matter of Lilly but just clarifies Leah and Frederick's identity.
