Hi Nina! I also seem to be in a very similar situation to you in that I live about 7 miles east of Aberystwyth and all my ancestry is in Wiltshire. I am fortunate, though in that the National Library just up the road has a lot of useful general material as well as, of course, free access to Ancestry etc. I was struck by your reference to Cornwall. Our village here, Goginan, used to have one of the largest silver/lead mines in Wales and we actually live in the old chief mine agent's house. Because of their mining expertise very many Cornish families moved here during the nineteenth century to work as place names in the village such "Cornish Row " testify. I just wondered whether you had any known connections with any of these families.
