Hi For some years now I have been undertaking a one name study of the Surname TRUS(S)LER and its many spelling variations which include TRUSLOW and now TREASURE (I won't list the others but believe me there are many of them!). If anybody is researching any similar surnames perhaps they will get in touch so that I can see if they are in my database and perhaps exchange information with you. My own Trussler Family actually comes from Somerset but I have now found that the elusive John TRUSLER of Whatley, Somerset who married Sarah ...... in about 1709 was probably the same John TRUSLOW of Whatley who married a Sarah ROAD of Whatley in St James the Less, Foxcote, Somerset on 18 August 1706. (Foxcote is about 8 miles north of Whatley) >From my other research I am fairly confident that the TRUSLOW surname started in Wiltshire (unless of course you know differently?)?
