Today, though, this list is more active than some of the others to which you and I belong. I haven't joined the Eng-Wiltshire list just to get help. I hope to contribute and help others, too. Concerning the Yahoo Groups, thanks for mentioning them but joining is much too complicated for me. I have been a member of rootsweb lists for over 12 years and I'm accustomed to the rootsweb way.
