Hello Josephine No I didn't, what does it say about them in Pigot's please? Mike -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Mike, I expect that you already know that there is a reference to GRAYELL & WILLIAMS, Malmesbury and Mary GRAYELL, Malmesbury in Pigot's Directory of Wiltshire of 1830, but nothing ventured nothing gained. There's an index to names in Wiltshire beginining with G here: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~pobjoyoneill/tradedir/wilt1830/wilt1830G.htm Josephine

Hi Mike, I don't have a copy of Pigot's Directory of Wiltshire of 1830, myself, but looking in the rootsweb archives I see that GRAYELL & WILLIAMS, in High Street, Malmesbury, were listed under Bricklayers and Masons and Mary GRAYELL, who was also in High Street, was listed under Milliners & Dressmakers.
