I have, thanks to a Techie friend (and she knows who she is), split up my family tree to a tree that contains only those born or married or died in Malmesbury (and the surrounding villages). I am a bit of a bore <>G but I keep finding them I think it said I have 997 families in it. LEWIS PONTING BARNES BOWMAN MAT(T)HEWS CLARK PIKE ADYE BOULTON http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=malmesburytous and others. I would love it if those of you with Malmesbury area family would check it out and maybe correct errors and add bits. I would appreciate it. Eliz
Hi Eliz, There are lots of surnames in your list that I have in my family tree - many of them are likely connected but I can't make any definite connections, usually because my groups are from earlier times. However there is one of your names that I think must surely be connected - "Elizabeth [Richmond] OLIFFE POSSIBLY", so I'm sending you (privately) the information I have on Oliffe RICHMOND & descendants of Lea that might turn out to be useful for you - they will have to be connected to your Malmesbury Oliffe Richmonds. Best wishes Megan On 27/10/2010, at 11:33 AM, Eliz Hanebury wrote: > I have, thanks to a Techie friend (and she knows who she is), split up > my family tree to a tree that contains only those born or married or > died in Malmesbury (and the surrounding villages).
