Hi Everyone, I have just started looking at the above couple and could do with some help. What I have is as shown below. Firstly, I wish to know whether they had any children? Catherine died 1961 and her death was registered April - June in the Swindon Registration District. I currently don't have a date/place of death for Philip. I would like to know if there was an obitary in a local newspaper for Catherine? If anyone is researching same please get back to me. Best wishes, Derek (Snodland, Kent) According to the Parish Register Catherine Rose Hurst was born on 11.9.1894 at Wantage and baptised there in the church of St.Peter & St.Paul on 23.10.1894 the daughter of Albert Edward Hurst. a groom, and Emily, of Partridge Row, Wantage. They married at Cricklade, Wilts. in Sept.Qtr. 1925 3a 125. The WAY/SUMMERTON family tree on Ancestry.co.uk has a record showing Philip born on 9.10.1888 at St.Brelades, son of Charlton Way and Harriet Ann. They have Catherine as "1895 - 1961". But FreeBMD has no record of either of them dying in England.
