    1. [ENG-WILTSHIRE] GRAYLE - GRAYEL - GRAY - GREY - OF MALMESBURY
    2. Hello Listers, I see there have been a few previous posts re the "GRAYEL'S OF MALMESBURY." So far, I have traced my ancestors back to 10th March 1791 when WILLIAM GRAYEL m FORTUNE MOSS. The parents of William are possibly James Grayle (b1771) and Mary (Unknown). However there is more than one William Grayle who is a possibility around the same date so I can't say for certain. Does anyone have any other information about the Grayle's? (also known as Grayel, Gray, Grey). My ancestors appear to have worked mainly as cattle dealers and lived in Horsefair Malmesbury. Ultimately I am trying to find out where the GRAYELL (and variations) came from originally. Information on the web links the name to McGrayle (Irish). Many thanks

    3. When did they live in Horsefair? Both my Lewises and my Pontings lived there <G> before they emigrated. 3. Hello jeannemgrey!! As Eliz said "I am waving".  A little later I will transfer to my other computer and send you an email, especially if you send me some information. I presume you are in Australia and are a GREY that is actually descended from a GREYELL. I would be interested in seeing your ancestry so I know what I can help you with.  I have lots on the GRAYELL//GRAYLE name which is the line I am descended from but I have also quite a bit on the GRAYELL name. Mike in Kawerau NZ. ________________________________ Hello Listers, I see there have been a few previous posts re the "GRAYEL'S OF MALMESBURY."
