Dear Wiltshire people, I am hoping that someone can assist me with my queries, which I believe relate to Swindon or Stratton St. Margaret. My husband’s ancestors all appear to be named Richard Read. I have one generation sorted, but the previous one is giving me some problems. That Richard died in Wroughton, leaving an 1815 will, naming wife Mary and brothers in law Morris and Richard King executors, but I cannot find birth or marriage details for this Richard or for children whose names appear to be Richard, Mary, Elizabeth and Ann.
