    1. [ENG-WILTSHIRE] Henry MUNDAY and Betty MEADEN or BATTEN? Bradford on Avon, 1790s - what next?

    3. The other day I asked Nimrod if they could find the marriage of the Henry MUNDAY and Betty that Janis Packham very helpfully uncovered for me last February.   Trouble is, they have found two contenders for the parents of my 3 times great grandmother, Charlotte MUNDAY of Avoncliff:   DATE:  03 FEB 1791     PLACE: Bradford on Avon      by Banns  GROOM: MUNDAY          Henry            Bach   of this parish BRIDE: MEADEN          Betty            Spin   of this parish or DATE:  11 JUN 1797     PLACE: Bradford on Avon     by Banns  GROOM: MUNDY           Henry                of this parish BRIDE: BATTEN          Betty                of this parish   I wonder whether this is the same Henry Munday marrying two different Bettys or whether there were (at least!) two Henry Mundays in & around Bradford on Avon at that time.   Does anyone know whether the WFHS have a CD of the Bradford on Avon births, marriages, banns and deaths from the PRs and whether this includes copies of the documents or transcripts, as it looks as though this part of my tree may be impossible to sort out without the kind of additional information sometimes recorded in PRs but left out in some transcripts.   Does anyone know whether any WFHS CD of Bradford on Avon's PRs would also cover Westwood, Limpley Stoke, Winsley and other places nearby?    (I assume Avoncliff is considered part of Westwood, although clearly various ancestors who lived there there went to church in Winsley Murhill chapel or at BoA Holy Trinity church.)   Does anyone have any useful thoughts on what to do next?   Thanks!   Therese.
