At Wigtown, on the 30th ult., Mr. James BROODFOOT, aged 65, for a length of time captain of the Mercury, one of the Whitehaven and Glasgow Traders. The deceased had endeared herself to a numerous circle of acquaintance, by the uniform kindness of her disposition, by whom she was kindly respected and is deeply regretted. At Bolton Hall, Gosforth, on Tuesday week, Tyson HERBERT, youngest son of the late Mr. Andrew HERBERT, aged seven years. At Egremont, on Sunday last, Mr. Adam CORRIE, millwright, aged 84, formerly and for many years of Lowmill. At the Distressed Sailor public house, near Hensingham, a few days ago, Mrs. Ann NEWALL, far advanced in years. The deceased was for many years landlady of the Distressed Sailor. At Whitehaven, on Tuesday week, in Duke Street, Mrs. Betsy BATEMAN, in the 68th year of her age; since our last, in Church Street, Elizabeth HARPER, aged 21 years; and in Windmill Brow, Mrs. Sarah PORTOUS, widow, aged 70 years; at the Preston Quarter Workhouse, last week, Mr. William HUTTON, aged 74 years. In Highgate, Kendal, on Wednesday morning, the 17th ult., after an illness of more than three years duration, Jane, eldest and only daughter of Mr. William BROWN, formerly of Cockermouth, in the 27th year of her age. DEATH OF THE DOWAGER MARCHIONESS OF BREADALBANE.-This esteemed lady died at the mansion-house of Langton, Berwickshire, on Thursday evening. She was the daughter of David GAVIN, Esq., of Langton, and married the late Marquis of Breadalbane in 1793.
