The frost in Scotland continues with severity. The mail between Edinburgh and Aberdeen, a distance of 132 miles, which should perform the journey in 22 hours, was three days on the road, and it has been necessary to carry it on horseback, the snow not admitting the passing of the coach. In the neighbourhoods of Montrose, Kilross, Dundee, Perth, Arbroth, and Queensferry, the snow lay in immense quantities. _________________ LORD ANDOVER,last Wednesday, on returnig from shooting in Norfolk, handed to his servant his fowling-piece, which went off at the instant, when the shot penetrated his right side and lungs. His Lordship on Thursday was alive, but there was little hope of his recovery. =============================================================== LONDON: Printed and Published by W. and C.
