    3. Ambleside Herald and Lakes News 8-June-1883 Melancholy Coincidence A sad calamity has taken place during the present week, coincident to the death of MRS. BREALEY, wife of the REV. F. BREALEY, and eldest daughter of the late G. REDMAYNE, Esq., of Brathay Hall. It will be remembered that the deceased lady passed away on the 27th of April last, at Little Linford, after much suffering, caused by an accident which shortened her life. The accident referred to was her having been taken with a fit whilst standing on the hearth and falling into the fire. It is singular that on the self same spot, within the past few days, her husband, the REV. F. BREALEY, should likewise have met his death, having fallen down in a fit and expired, but happily not into the fire. The deceased gentleman, who was widely known in this district, was interred at Brathay yesterday, when a number of friends and relatives were present. Mr. W. STALKER of Ambleside, superintended all the arrangements. David Leverton
