Hello David: I'm looking for information for you, but it is very puzzling to not be able to find anything as yet. I'll keep trying !! Barb, Ontario, Canada.
Hello All, Thank you for responding Barb in Ontario. I am most grateful for any help that I can get. It was so lovely to hear from a lister on my Brick Wall. I will just wish everyone on the list , "A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and A HAPPY NEW YEAR and hope none of you get floods like we are experiencing in Tewkesbury England. Hello Again, David: I don't know if you have used FamilySearch.org or not, but Sara ULLOCK is shown as being Christened 01 Feb 1765, Holy Trinity, Whitehaven, Cumberland, England ; Father Serjeant-Sargent ULLOCK Batch No. C020112 Source Call No. 0090678 Printout Call No. 6904588 Not sure whether you are near a LDS facility so you could order the film in ? I have not been able to find the children listed on FamilySearch.org ___________________ I have found a few of the children's names on the Death Index. These may or may not be your ULLOCKs. I find the first on your list a bit "suspect", as it says a James and then says it is a daughter. I wonder if it should be Jane and not James. Here is a Jane ULLOCK who died in Yorkshire in the 3rd Qtr. of 1867, aged 74 (b. abt. 1793) Here is a Robert ULLOCK who died in the 4th Qtr. of 1839, Ulverstone [ this is the first Robert who I have found ] Here is a Mary ULLOCK who died 1867, age 65 (b. abt. 1802), Kendal, Lancashire-Westmorland. I forgot to mark which Quarter of the year, but I can go back and fetch that. I wonder, if you feel that these could be some of your ULLOCKS, whether buying the Death Certificate would give some further clues. There is no sign of an Atkinson ULLOCK/HULLOCK etc. anywhere that I have looked. Wouldn't you think that at least one of them would be on the 1841 Census ! I'm not having much luck there, but will keep looking. Sincerely, Barb, Ontario, Canada.
