my 4x great grandmother was Ann Airey. I have almost nothing on her-no birth date, parents names or death date. I do know that she m. on 28 Apr 1766 in Westmoreland (don't know the pariish or town/village) to Richard Atkinson who was chr. 6 Nov 1743 in Long Marton, Westmoreland. they had 4 children that I can find; Robert b. 10 Feb 1766 Brampton chr. 4 Dec 1766 (my ancestor) Richard chr. __ Mar 1770 Knock Mary chr. 19 Dec 1770 Esperlandhill Ann chr. 17 Feb 1774 Esperlandhill Robert m. 8 Jan 1800 in Kendal to Mary Aitken b. 10 Nov 1779 Kendal. Robert and Mary took most of their family to Baltimore, Maryland, USA in 1822. except for some of the American lineage, the above is pretty much all we know about the Atkinson family.
