I can't see either Thomas or Jane in the 1851 census, though Robert is an apprentice woodturner in Martindale in the 1851 census. There seems to be two parallel Calvert families there at the time, the other being George and Mary I don't seem able to find the family in either the 1841 or 1851 censuses. Where did you find them in the 1841, could be my access has ommissions? There could be an entry for Jane , 13 MAR 1796 Brough Under Stainmore, Westmorland, England Daughter of Jonathan and Agnes. But I can not see anything for Thomas senior. Thomas died before 1859 as he was listed as deceased on his son, Robert's marriage certificate. To Thomas and Jane were born: George about 1820, Margaret about 1822, Mary about 1831, Thomas about 1834, Robert in 1835, and Jane about 1838. Some of this family moved to Crook in County Durham to work in coal mining. I am looking for Thomas' birthplace and parents' names as well as a marriage date to his wife Jane (surname unknown) and any information on her family. I would appreciate any information about Thomas' and Jane's descendants too.
