Dear Dot, I think I have had some correspondence with you some years ago, as you appear on my family tree! I shall send a short report giving brief details of Robert Thompson's siblings and parents, to you directly. One of his brothers was Miles Thompson, the architect, and you will find that there is a pub names after him in Kendal! I can send you more details in due course, but here is a bit to be going on with. Robert Thompson was my GG grandfather - and I think he must have been yours also - am I right?
