I don't know if they are related to me, but thanks for the article. My ancestor Robert Wells married Elizabeth Powley in Morland in 1609. Robert was born at Shap so I don't know whether her family was from Morland or Shap. Obviously, I know very little about the Powley family. John B. Wells III John B.
