Hi David I have family from Hawkshead/Bowness the Garnetts. Not connected to your Ullocks but came across this on a website http://www.northofthesands.org.uk/westmoreland/parish/38/windermere Westmorland Church Notes (E) In Memory of Thomas Ullock who died 19 of October 1791 Aged 75. Poor Tom came here to lie from Battles of Dettengen & Fontenoy in 1743 and 1745. Margaret his Wife died January 5th 1811 Aged 82 years. I think this may be window at St Martins Church in Bowness. Why I say think is that I believe I may have seen the window while looking for Edward Garnetts window at St Martins. I will investigate more and see what else I can find. Can you please send me your email address, I would love to invite you to my website, which has photographs of Hawkshead & St Martins Churches.
