If anyone comes across the death/burial of a THOMAS DENT, Linsey Weaver, pre 1861 then I would be pleased to hear from them. I have the death certificate for his widow, Sarah, who died in Kendal in 1866 and was said to be a widow on the 1861 census but cannot find Thomas's death/burial nor locate him on the 1851 or 1841 census. Any help would be appreciated. Derek.

But I note that the LDS site shows their marriage in 1802 (bride Sarah Anderson) am I correct ? If she is shown as a widow on the 1841 there is a death in Kendal for September 1838 shown on Free BMD - could this perhaps be him ? Regards, Pauline

Derek As I am sure you have, think I have found Sarah on the 1841 living in Kendal with a William 20 and a John 5 - do you have this ? Agree it doesn't show her marital status. Son William has the same occupation Linsey Weaver. Regards, Pauline
