MCLEOD, surgeon-major in the Madras army, surrendered his bail on a charge of manslaughter, it being alleged that his wife, ANNIE MCLEOD, died through the culpable administration of overdoses of morphia in October last, at Carlisle. Prisoner was acquitted.
