PRICE 1D. ___________________________________________________ NISI PRIUS COURT. (Before MR. JUSTICE DENMAN and a Common Jury.) EXECUTORS OF WM. MARK, DECEASED, v. BRAMHALL. This was an action brought by the executors of the late WILLIAM MARK, of Kendal, common brewer, deceased, against EMANUEL BRAMHALL, of Garsdale, Yorkshire, to recover the sum of £36 for ale sold and delivered. MR. BRADLEY appeared for the plaintiffs. The defendant was not represented. The judge did not take the case on the declaration in the action, but on the admission of the defendant by letter of the sum of £14 8s., and he directed the jury to find for that sum. The Judge, on the application of counsel, certified for costs. This concluded the business of the assize, and the Court rose at half-past twelve o'clock. The Grand Jury partook of luncheon at the Tufton Arms Hotel, and in the evening the High Sheriff entertained the Judges and a select party at Appleby Castle. _____________________________________________________
