Hello Bronwen and David ! Wouldn't that be lovely if we were officially cousins; but I don't think so. My SARGEANT/WARDs seem to have originated (from my story anyhow) in Colne, Essex; Clerkenwell; then Greenwich and Erith, Kent; then Canada. My facts do not go back as far as your dates; my earliest one is 1810. Sargeant is my Father's Family. My Mother's MCINTYRE/HUTCHINSON/GREGG/HEATON Family are the ones with Cumberland/Wesmorland; Liverpool; Mawdesley; Wigan; then Canada connections. I hosted the MCINTYRE Reunion here last September. I've only just realized that the descendents in Canada for both of these lines are the only ones ! In both cases, there was just one son born or one son left surviving, to carry on the SARGEANT line and the MCINTYRE line. All the more important to plan these reunions !
